I've noticed some dullness lately.

Salmon oil is meant to be good. And if you bathe him - don't, unless it's essential and then just use plain water.

I'd look at the quality of his food, too. My dog's coat improved when I switched him to raw.

A SMALL amount of butter added to his food should give a shine as well. Too much might upset his bowels, and how much is too much differs from dog to dog - hence starting with a small amount!
