Year-round, we enjoy amazing wildlife in our acre of gardens and grounds. Our resident badger clan have their main sett just 5m from the house, giving you ample opportunity to observe them. You can also see the badger and deer videos from our trail camera from the comfort of the guest lounge.

Fishing rights are included with your stay.

Tucked away in our grounds is our own Grasmere Brewery and Distillery. We make all of the lager, ale and cider on sale at our pub The Good Sport. Grasmere Gin and Grasmere Vodka are our latest additions.

There are literally hundreds of amazing walks directly from the guest house or a short drive or bus ride away. You can do a peak, a Wainwright, a river walk, the famous ’coffin trail’ or a perfect potter. Ask us for recommendations!
