Nestled between the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and Lancashire's Trough of Bowland, Penny Black Cottage welcomes two people and up to two dogs. Penny has a kingsize bed, a log burner, an enclosed garden, private off road parking, wifi....and fabulous mountain, hill, riverside, waterfall and countryside walks from the door!
Penny is a 240 year old traditional stone Yorkshire terraced cottage with a dog friendly pub within a mile walk. The nearest village is Ingleton (of the famous waterfalls) 2 miles away and Kirkby Lonsdale (Ruskin's View and Devil's Bridge) is 6 miles. The Yorkshire Dales are on the doorstep and the Lake District and Trough of Bowland are within a 30 min drive. Most of the pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops in the area are very welcoming to dogs.
