First post, so I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place or has been asked a lot. We have an 8 month old whippet bitch who we bought unregistered. However, we are considering breeding to her sometime down the line, and would really like to try and register her. Both her sire and dam seem to have registered names (Calenna Spritely Taro x Highisland Kimbleuley), but I'm not sure how to trace them and find out if it would be possible to register her. If anyone could give me any advice on where to start, that would be great.

Only the breeder of your dog is able to register your dog with the KC.

It is but as far as I am aware she didn't breed this persons pup she breed the dam.

hi , welcome to the forum , i am the owner to the sire and the breeder of the dam , may i first suggest you go back to the lady you got the puppy from and ask her for help in reg your girl ? which little lady did you have ? would love to see an updated pic of her !!

Hi, great to hear from you. I'd love to see some photos of Coco's parents if you have any. Are they both KC registered? I will get in touch with the lady we got Coco from, I just wondered if there was a way we could do it without bothering her. Maybe there is some reason why she wasn't registered, I always just assumed that her parents weren't. Anyway, this is Coco, with our other whippet Chuck (Beetelian Irresistible, in case there are any of his relatives' owners around). She is the sweetest girl, so cuddly and affectionate.

Hi sorry I dont come on much so didnt know about this, thanks Janis ,

I am the breeder of Calenna Sprightley Taro and owner of both his parents all are KC registered, so the only thing I can think of why Coco isnt registered is that the breeder did not give you the papers or didn't register the litter either way if you are in touch with her she should be able to let you know.

My signiture shows both parents and coco's dads siblings
