SO, what are you up to today?

Just been to the Doctors for a flu jab ( reached that age ) and a pneumonia jab , which I didn’t know existed ! Yesterday had blood tests for prescribed IBS but doctor not sure it is that so am worrying myself daft until the blood results are back which in turn sets the tummy problems off! Oh such fun ...not

Oh no that doesn't sound like a fun couple of days

Good luck with the test results, Mayblossom.

I'm arranging to have a chair off Gumtree to be couriered from 140 miles away... The transport will cost more than the chair itself, but it's identical to my supremely comfortable 'work' chair (which you can't get any more), and my back's decided it hates sofas so...

Apart from that, I'll be dog walking with my friend on Canford Heath later, and have Book Club with the first mince pies of the season this evening.

Thank you both results should be back next Tuesday so I’ll be fretting til then.

Aww thanks for asking , all good and no sign of any problems in bloods so that was a relief, still have the IBS to cope with but can put up with that knowing nothing serious is going on. Stress has so much to do with it ....all I need now is a peaceful life with no problems :D I wish

And this morning taking girlies to the groomers for their Christmas bath and haircuts ! Off to Norfolk for Christmas in the caravan so lots of walks on the beautiful beaches....can’t wait x

I'm glad it isn't anything serious but you are defiantly right about stress! Can cause us so much damage. A stress free life hmmmmmm and interesting thought!

Aww that sounds like the perfect Christmas! Would love to see a picture of the girls looking all smart and groomed - before they get mucky at the beach! :p

Well they might get mucky before then as when I pick them up from the groomers it’ll be walkies time on Epsom downs! Hehe :D I’ll try and get a picture before they get dirty ;) it’s so murky and misty out there today don’t think they’ll stay clean for long ! Been very quiet without them here....I can hoover properly without them charging about to escape the scary monster :D

I love Norfolk and so does Jasper... Trouble is, he hates the long car journey, which means we hate it too so we don't have plans to go again. We stayed in Brancaster the three times we've been here, and the beach was totally deserted even in June :)

Brancaster beach is brilliant Judy, we also go to Holkham and Wells too. Luckily my two are great travellers and we never hear a peep out of them on the journey, we stop off halfway to give their legs a stretch and they can’t wait to get back in the car! :D Aww that’s a shame Jasper doesn’t enjoy travelling as it’s so beautiful on the beaches, so much space for them to run....and no mud! ;)

Oh no! I bet today they find a great big muddy puddle too!

Hehe :D more than likely! Lily loves to roll in the all weather gallops where the racehorses train....we’ll keep away from there or she’ll be beige instead of white! :D

Here are the girls back from their walk after being bathed and clipped , still clean and sporting a sparkly bow each that the lovely groomer gave them .....impressed? Don’t think so :D

Looking gorgeous girls! LOVE the sparkly bows :p Thank you for sharing @Mayblossom

We have an excited household because we're off to Chagford in Dartmoor today! We will spend the day walking along the river Teign and end up at a lovely pub by Fingle Bridge. Then back to the hotel for a lovely 5 course meal! :)

Very close to me! Here's an interesting fact - the long, winding gravel "path" that goes up the hill after the bridge is actually a proper, legitimate road. I've ridden it many times on my (road legal) dirt bike and it's not unusual to explain to walkers that they're actually wondering in the middle of a road (especially the corners). Just because it doesn't have tarmac doesn't make it a footpath ;) Have fun and be safe!
