This is Jasper and his friend Ted in the woods this afternoon. According to Ted's DNA test he's pure saluki x greyhound but I have my doubts - all that fluff came from somewhere!

Fun was had by the looks of it! Ted looks like a goat in your first picture of him - the route of the tree behind him looks like a little billy goat beard!

I wondered about that cupric beard! -- i thot my eyes were playing tricks, or maybe he was wearing a minimalist costume for a fancy-dress affair, & would add fake hooves & a unicorn's horn B4 he entered.

I agree, that upholstery came from somewhere, & it wasn't a Saluki or a Greyhound, either. But he's good-looking, just unusual.
