Whippet owner newbie

Welcome @Wonderwhippet

Tell us more about your whippet or whippets :)
H, my whippet is Jodie a little rescue. She's not had a good time these past fee years, she slipped a disc when jumping off a bed in 2014 then she started limping again a year ago.she's had corns in her pads on and off but recently one went infected and we are still trying to remedy the problem. Not so much limping on sand or grass. One idea was that she's damaged the brachial nerve in her leg and can't feel the ground but that wouldn't tie in with the difference in limping on different surfaces. Thanks.

Oh bless her. Hope she recovers soon!

Welcome :)
Sorry to hear about your whippet, corns are so painful for them and can be such a pain to get rid off.
I thought Oliver developed a corn last year after he got something stuck in his paw, i was never away from the vets and he really hated walking on pavements and would limp. I even considered boots for him as it went on for ages, it eventually healed up after i removed the hard skin and soaked his paw twice a day.
I hope Jodie gets better soon and can enjoy her walks.

Thanks so much, its frustrating but I'm persevering!

Welcome. I hope your dog gets well soon :)

Thank you, I've bought her a little boot to wear she seems better in that. Its silver, so a bit of a David Bowie starman look...
