Hahaha, what a fool. Originally I saw someone write OH in a post and I thought it was just a nickname for their partner. I thought this until I started seeing other people use OH, it finally clicked!

And what is OH ?
I hate posts that have more abbreviations than actual words, it just seems so lazy

I think a list of abbreviations should be made available for all readers!

And of course David Cameron revealed that he once thought lol meant Lots of Love! Makes you wonder about his PM's (ouch Prime Ministerial!) emails..... Some very scared civil servants?

Me too! have never understood why so many people send, lol, lot's of love, in their messages/replies. So what is that short for?

Im tempted to say OH is more of a UK thing, i never heard of it until i started visiting UK dog forums.... or maybe its just uk dog lovers that use it? =P

where I'm from(Western NY USA) we tend to use SO ( Significant Other) although that has a more same sex attraction connotations sometimes.........

Sorry, I use OH all the time  And ROFL, ROFLMAO, TEOTWAWKI, and probably more. DS1 and DS2 stands for 'dear son no. 1' and 'dear son no.2'. But then I've never claimed not to be lazy...

Someone I know used to use DH (dear husband) even when going through an acrimonious divorce. They said in his case it stood for d***head :D

My own dear husband saw what he thought was the German word for milk written in dust on a car.. when he pondered why anyone would do this my son nearly wet himself laughing and refused to explain....OH had to come home and ask me then I got the fun of seeing him blush !!!

( its very rude in case you were wondering)

MM, I've just been googling the German for 'milk', thought 'That's not rude,' tried to find the Dutch for the German word, if that makes sense - nope, I can't find anything rude. I'm curious now!

Well I'm number 2 who's curious too!
Please do tell us:rolleyes:
I'm sure PMs are fine!

the German word is Milch ...OH saw MILF

oh and a good place to look for these things is urban dictionary..

Ah, I see! And because searching for the term MILF brings up some funny websites, if people want to know what it stands for, it's 'Mother I'd Like to... be very Friendly with'. Or something like that ;)

I always remember when my brother was at school he was a rather cheeky boy and decided to shout ‘MILF’ at some parents....

It was funny listening to the teacher explain what it meant to my dad (and why he was in detention) :D

Okay (see? No abbreviation there ;)), I'll translate:

Oh My God, Laughing Out Loud, Rolling On Floor Laughing, Peeing MySelf Laughing (that's the polite version), Away From Keyboard, Be Right Back.

The internet has it's own lingo!:D:)
