Hi I have a recuse dachshund (polly)
She is 6 we have had her 1 year and she’s good as gold , but lately she has been licking and biting her paws , I’m just wondering if this might be a allergy, or lately we have been giving her rabbits ears as a treat ! Which she loves ,
Any help will be much appreciated!

The easiest thing to do would be stop the rabbit ears, and see if the irritation goes.

Hopefully so, it would be a nice easy fix.

Thanks for your reply, yes that’s the first thing we did , just wondering if any body had this problem before !

It is harvest mite season just now, so could be those. Or she may have been stung by nettles. But stopping the rabbit ears would be a good start, as they generally have all sorts of dubious chemicals in them, such as formalin or bleach.
