Thanks Hemlock Her vulva isn't as swollen as it was on Thursday so hoping this is the start of it going down I won't be taking Ash out until it is back to normal size so if that is another week or two then that's how long it will be - I am not taking any chances

Just read this, Thanks for posting Ash is I think 2 weeks in to her season (I say think, as 2 weeks ago is when we noticed her bleeding, which has now stopped) I feel as though I am wishing my life away at the moment as I am only walking her first thing playing games with her in the garden...

No experience of head collars, am sure someone will be along shortly good luck with your 9 week old lab - personally I would start training leave and use his food as training treats - use every meal time as a training session
