I've got a couple of tuffies beds that I bought in 2001, they still look good as new 13 years and 7 puppies later. They'[re expensive but a worthwhile investment. The 2 I have have not went flat at all and the dogs still love sleeping on them.
I would be guided by your vet, there are many medications that can help, my elderly collie is on a double dose of previcox which the vet was initially unwilling to give her but for me it's all about quality of life, not quantity of months/years left. This higher dose keeps her active and happy...
Yes, the saloon type plexidor, money well spent and they sell spares (not that I've needed any) so it should last forever. It also comes with a steel security cover for when you're away and can be locked if you don't want the dog out, or in :)
I feed Applaws to all my dogs now. Initially I tried it on my skinny youngster and he now looks fabulous, bodied up and his coat is improving a lot. I thought I would try the light version on my 3 spayed bitches and they're all doing very well. 2 collies and a silken windhound and they each get...
I've never used any drugs for kennel cough, a spoonful of benylin in a small amount of milk soothes their throat and as it's a viral infection antibiotics don't work, it runs it's course. The important thing is to keep the dog as quiet as possible, no walks - both because you don't want to...
I have a plexidor too, expensive to buy but absolutely brilliant. I do find on very windy days it blows open, I think twice over the last winter but in the main it is great. May be a bit excessive for a yorkie though :)
I don't think it is to do with the house move, Shevy sounds like a normal 10 week old puppy to me, sometimes (often!) they can seem savage or mad, it's merely puppy play and learning.
Are you following Roger Mugfords 'The bite stops here' process, it really does work and it's important to teach...

If you fancied a trip to Kent in July you should come along to the UK Silken Windhound Speciality show on 20th July in Five Oak Green.
I already have my dream dogs, the silken windhounds. I first saw one online about 14 years ago and it took me 10 years to get my...
I agree, I've never walked bitches in season and often marvel at the stupidity of those who do, as Chelynnah says some bitches have had litters from either very early or very late matings so it doesn't seem worth the risk. Not to mention that every dog owner is going to have a harder time...
