Dotty&Duke

i have 2 whippets Dotty and Duke. i got Dotty first for the OHs birthday ( well thats the excuse I used anyway) but had wanted a whippet for years. We always had dogs when i was a kid but had not had one for a few years, until Dots. Getting Dotty was the best decision we ever made after that well the rest is history. Then came Duke (our greyhound gap boy) I wanted to get a rescue after seeing so many puppys advertised and realising just how many unwanted dogs there must be around. he is a little star and has been a pleasure to have around since the day we got him, although he is a bit of a shall we say 'special' boy anyone who has met him will know what I mean Lol. I can not say how much I love my dogs they are the best things that ever happend to us. i love the breed because whippets are just such loving easy going and entertaining dogs. We have just started racing them and they love it, it also goes without saying so do we. My interests are obviously anything whippety, walking our 2 beautiful babies espescially when we take them somewhere new. Horses.I used to be an apprentice jockey but that was many moons ago, I still ride my friends ex point to pointer but not as often as I'd like, reading eating out I love a good pub quiz and until 2 years ago I used to paraglide, basically i love anything outdoorsy. I also work as a hospice at home nurse for a charity in Bristol, previous to this I was a community nurse. My current mission is to make our 2 whippety family 3!
