About me?? Well I raced whippets from the age of 13 to 30+................ Some famous names, my best boy being WCRCh / FEDCh / SPCh Red Assasin, We also had WCRCh Freeman (now he was a character!) and my husband also owned WCRCh Striker (Tell um Straight - who many of you will have on your dog's pedigree). Oz (Striker) was a prolific stud dog, and wouldn't be handled at stud by Gail, his owner, so I always handled him, he was a lovely little chap and the father of my Ted (Red Assasin) who was a wonderful racer, pet and friend and I still miss him.

We very recently lost our Rosie (Striker grandchild, mum bred her out of Smartie - Ted's sister). She was 12 and had a bad heart and we were lucky to have her as long as we did, thanks to lots of TLC and a wonderful vet. We are sad and miss her dreadfully, I have never been without a whippet since I was 13... 27 years of whippet friendship was wonderful and I am starting to look for a little girl who needs a lovely kind home to move in with us asap....

We also have 3 cats (how Ted would turn in his grave at the very thought!) and my wonderful large standard poodle boy, Chester who is 3 years old and loves life too the max! Gail is well and we have remained great friends. Mum and Dad live near us and have 1 old whippet (Rosie's brother) & 2 bedlington x whippet 1st crosses (known as the 'scruffies'). It would be lovely to hear from old friends, and I am interested in recent events.... and who knows, I may have some news soon on a new girl to be become the next spoilt princess of the house xx

Gardening, golf, my pets, theatre, watching my son play footie every weekend, reading - when and if I have time!
