Hector looks really well, it's amazing how the time flies. Rosie just celebrated her 1st 'gotcha' day last week, I can't imagine life without the little minx now (even if Rifle does give me 'that' look imploring me to take her batteries out!) ;) I'd forgotten how scrawny she was........

I hope that local radio stations are all alerted and warning people to be aware. So many people listen to the local stations for traffic alerts when driving that at least making them aware there is a dog loose may make them watch their speed even if there is nothing they can do to help catch...

:thumbsup: It is heartwarming to see people working together with the best interests of the dog first and foremost. Having transported a few rescues I'm only too aware of how easily an accident like this can happen. Just hoping and praying that this little one is picked up soon.

I am sorry to read about your loss, perhaps a companion for your boy may well help but it would have to be the right dog and rescue dogs often do have issues which need to be worked through. I certainly wouldn't rule out getting a more mature and confident dog as a companion but perhaps it...
