Thanks Mandy :)) Only trialing going on at the Northern today, Murphy had a great time ploughing through the mud and the added bonus no muzzle so was able to kill the lure :lol: could have done with a plank of wood to prize his mouth open, :lol: just was'nt going to give it up.. :)

Really pleased with Murphy last week at the Northern,,everything went well and put all my concerns to rest also all went well at vets , has a clean bill of health :sweating: Im sure if he was a cat he has used up all his nine lives. :D Anyone know if the Northern is on tomorrow 12/9/10?

Thanks all three of you for your support :thumbsup: I bit the bullet last night and sent Barry a PM, I took Murphy out yesterday to some playing fields with my daughter and gave him a good run probably just over a 150 yrds :sweating: He was fine, I think its more me it really was a horrible...

What are peoples thoughts, Should I race my dog Murphy again, I'll tell you why I am asking, Murphy was very ill in June I nearly lost my lad to some sick individual who has been mixing rat poison in dog food and leaving it in areas where myself and others walk there dogs, Murphy was not showing...

:wub: Watched crufts tonight pleased to see my Border Terrier Poppys 3/4 bred brother winning best of breed for a 2nd year he got best of breed in 2008 and again today :D I never really got into showing Poppy a shame really although I think shes much happier mooching in the fields than being...

Any advice or thoughts on the mater, got a young dog finished his trialing at the the end of last years season doing fine except starts of well put fulls behind due to him moving in and out a couple of times trying for a better position or possibly when he looses sight of the lure not sure...

Thanks all, Your right Judy some good advice given, At this point I have no way of knowing what his potential is at racing, being hes not long past his trialing and still maturing, although I have got to say I am pleased with his progress and enjoying the Whippie adventure...

My dog is 13 months old, past his trialing at 12 months at the Norhtern, what club you talking about in Wigan? Both parents race bred but good coursing dogs, sire did really well pre ban .So curious to find out what my dog is best at. But as already stated dont wont to hinder his racing...
