In November of 2006, on a cold winters night, I collected Lily from the Whippet rescue. She was so painfully thin, as her previous owner had died and his wife (of 2 weeks) didn't like dogs and tried to starve her. Fortunately a good housekeeper managed to persuade her to hand Lily to whippet...

So sorry to hear Jesse has lost his fight. He had a life and a death that any whippet would be glad of. He was a brave boy and deserved the love he was given through out his life. Thank-you for sharing his story and big hugs to you all :huggles:

Mandy , we all feel so sad for you, as practically everyone on K9 has been where you are now. Would it help you to make a scrapbook of you lovely boy's life? You could put in pictures from when you first got him, and include some of the lovely times you had together. Write about his little...
