It will take time. Whippy doesn’t understand the change of circumstances. Walking them together should help. That way they both enter the house together on more equal terms.
Race bred pups are much much cheaper. Racing people have a litter of pups when they want a new pup for themselves so they do not breed for profit. Downside is that they often go other racing homes. Just paid £550 for my latest one and that was way more than the previous three. Coursing bred pups...

Was it a Specialist out of Hours vet like Vets Now? They are very expensive.
I use a dremmel on my whippets.
Not too bad noise wise and can use on a low speed if done weekly.
My partner has to hold them steady while I do the deed!
