I'm afraid it was this morning,and as you can imagine the family are in a state.Please wait a while before phoning if you wish to ring to pass on your condolences

The world will be a sadder place without the wisdom, knowledge and friendliness of this vibrant woman. She took me under her wing and became a best friend.

Our thoughts at this tragic time go to Phil and Lou's family.

Caroline and Nick.

Heard of this very sad news this afternoon and as so many, I'm still in shock after speaking with Lou only yesterday.

As Caroline says, Lou's wisdom and Knowledge will be greatly missed as will her friendly, familiar face around the racing and showing circuit.

Sincere thoughts go out to Phil and family.

I was so shocked when I got the call this afternoon to tell me about Lou.

I was only talking to her and Phil on Saturday at Shugborough. I can't begin to imagine what Phil and the rest of the family must be going through.

She was a larger than life lady with an even bigger heart.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Phil.

RIP Lou.

Debs, Ian and Josie

my thoughts and feelings are with phill and the family

Rip lou

it was lovely knowing you :(

Lou and Phil are like my adoptive parents, it was only this weekend we were camping with them laughing and joking at "Team Fowler". I will miss so many different things about Lou, her advice, her nagging at Phil, her kindness and warmth to me, Mark and our family and her Sunday roast diners! I will miss her popping over every Saturday and trawling the car boots with her for bargains. She brought sunshine and happiness into our lives and we will miss her greatly. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to Phil, Sophie and her family.

Rest in Peace Lou xxx

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,

Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,

Silence the pianos and with muffled drum

Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead

Scribbling on the sky the massage, She Is Dead,

Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,

Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

She was Phil's North, South, East and West,

His working week, and sunday rest,

His noon, midnight, talk and song,

I thought their love would last forever, I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out everyone;

Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;

Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;

For nothing now can ever come to any good.

RIP Lou, and God bless Uncle Phil, family and the rest of Team Fowler.
