Thank you all for your kind messages; sorry I've not replied to any yet but as I'm sure you will understand the pain of losing our perfect girl, who would have been one year old tomorrow, is just too hard to bear at the moment.

When I'm feeling up to it I will write a few words about our darling girl so she will be remembered as the precious girl we were so lucky to love and own.

Run free darling; we all love and miss you so very much

This is SO, SO sad. I never had the privilege of meeting Rowan, but as part of the worldwide whippet community, I would like to offer all at Citycroft my deepest, sincerest sympathy on the loss of one of their family.

Thinking of you - not only today, but in the coming weeks when the shock wears off and the sadness sets in.

I don't know you personally but I feel devastated for you nonetheless. I hope you don't mind but I wrote a little poem for Rowan. x

I never met you Rowan

Our paths did never cross

But looking at your photograph

I feel your family’s loss.

They know the angels took you

To shine, a star so bright

But it doesn’t stop them missing you

From morning through ‘til night.

They know that you are happy

And that you feel no pain

And I’m sure you’ll run to greet them

The day you meet again.

i am soooo sooo very sorry :'( i really know what you are going through, please please dont fight the sadness, let it all out as if you dont it will destroy you.

Please remember all the good times you've had with your girl, it is the only thing that has helped me. Take one minute at a time never mind a day at a time.
