Well Autumn couldn't do the double but big congrats to our friend Narelle with Ch Calahorra Nellgwynne who was BOB and RIG today.

BUT the really big news of the day is that young Doogie/Gus was

BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW today! under Mrs V Spence

and first in the Sweepstakes under Mrs S A Monk.

Many thanks to Rachel Bazzocco for helping mum with the babies in the breed yesterday and today - much appreciated.

Someone took a photo and said they would email it to me - so hopefully I will receive and can post soon.

Great stuff Lana- congrats on a lovely win with Doogie?Gus ? Looking 4wd to the pics. I thought Rachel was over in Perth? Great little win for Narelle too. :thumbsup:

Doogie/Gus - We were trying to think of Scottish names due to his Peperone heritage. I wanted to call him Dougall "Doogie". That extended into Angus McDougall. Mum thought Angus (Gus) was a good name, hence that has developed into me calling him Doogie and everyone else calling him Gus. And we like to play on the Hungry Jack's/McDonalds' burger advertising and we say he's a little bit fancy, and sometimes he's a little bit angry but we're sure he's gonna be GRAND.

Re: Rachel - she is actually in WA most of the time but I think it's four weeks on, one week off - so every now and again she'll be flying home.

And yes a great win for Narelle with Arella - she was starting to get a bit disillusioned.

On a lighter note it was fantastic to be there and see 2 beautiful bitches of superb quality - Taejan's T. Bird On A Wire & Parnew's W. Twinkle Little Star to Parnew (Imp Ger) compete and receive a huge round of applause from the onlookers. Both handlers Sonia Turay and Heather Hunter and the dogs performed at their best. Would love to see some results posted for the Whippet Show's held in NSW last weekend. Anyone??

As soon as I can find where I've packed my catalogues from the Whippet Shows and the Sighthound show and post the results if someone doesn't beat me to it first - We've had a good four days with placings in most classes or were close to with my team so we're fairly happy. met some lovely people and have so far enjoyed myself. currently waiting around for my Pharaoh to finish at the Royal in bhe Breeders Team. So I've got the Hound Show and an Ag show still to go to before I head on the long trip home.
