I know not with the April theme, but for the girlies

Faith, Hope and Charity coz Molly needed all 3

Congrats and a huge well done to all involved in saving and caring for Molly and her babes

Well done on such a gorgeous litter Molly

R.I.P April :huggles:

I'll think of some names later !

babies are stunning...well done Molly what a clever girl....hope you still have finger nails jane  how was your stress levels this morning

OMG, I close down the internet for a couple of hours to get some work done and it all happens

What beautiful babies - and it looks as though Molly is accepting motherhood as easily as she's accepted everything else that's happened to her over the last few days

Sleep tight little April, you won't be forgotten :huggles:

I'm no good at names, but going with a Diamond being April's birthstone, a theme of famous diamonds

For the boys

Sam - the Uncle Sam Diamond

Taylor - Taylor-Burton Diamond

Jacob - Jacob Diamond

Joe - Archduke Joseph Diamond

For the girls

Tiffany - Tiffany Yellow Diamond

Star - Star of South Africa

Spirit - Spirit of de Grisogono Diamond

Rose - Premier Rose Diamond

Hope - Hope Diamond

I really love the idea of one of the boys being Fizz and one of the girls Annie, though :D

Congratulations and well done with your beautiful babies Molly and Jane  :huggles:  :huggles:

Adham means black and adam was the first male

so Adham for the first black boy

Congratulations on the birth of these lovely pups. Sorry that little April was lost.

I agree that Ashley/Ashleigh/Ash should feature amongst the names cos today's closing of all our airports due to the volcanic ash is unique.

Another vote for George/Georgina because not only is it St George's day on the 23rd April but on 15th April 1942 the Island of Malta was awarded the George Cross for heroism during the German and Italian bombardment and everybody involved in this rescue has been a hero.

Best wishes for the next few weeks.

Some lovely and very clever suggestions for names for the puppies - I can't think of any just now!! LOL

I'm very sorry for poor little April, but so glad for Molly and her 5 surviving puppies - I can't bear to think of what could have happened in her previous circumstances. You rescued her in the nick of time really didn't you. Bless her.

Hope everyone (canines and humans!) are all well, and getting whatever rest you need.

Nothing to add really, except to say

Sorry about April - but at least 6 lives have been saved.

Any way I can help (from Newcastle possibly not) - just ask.

 Well done Molly!! Welcome to all her pretty babies they are gorgeous  RIP little April :(

Well done Molly, look forward to seeing them later, Molly needs them beside her now, not being picked up and and having photos taken. As Molly has had a traumatic few days, best to leave her to nurse her babies in peace. xx

That's what I thought, Anne, so I'm leaving her to adjust to motherhood in her wall to wall (literally) vetbed carpeted crate complete with bars to stop her squashing the pups

At the moment we are just standing by whilst the other dogs come back into the house having spent the day in the garden!! Ella and Sox are in season at the moment so their hormones are running riot and Ella will probably cause the most problem as she is very maternal!! No doubt a false pregnanacy will ensue for her (w00t)

Anne when I said we hoped to post some pictures there was no intention of disturbing Molly or her pups ... rather the hope that at some point, perhaps during one of Molly's toilet breaks, Jane could take a pic or two of the puppy heap

Absolutely Jane (and Bertha) we can all wait to see more pics of Molly and her babies (we've seen the important one where they are all snuggled up next to the milk bar!), right now Molly needs her rest, Jane probably needs even more rest and all good things come to those who wait... ;)

HUGE pat on the back to Jane, a hard day....xxx

Well done Molly and Jane - such a rewarding experience watching puppies come into the world  All the best with them all - I'll leave the names to others, as they all seem to have very good imaginations and ideas
