Ok now that I sort of have the use of two eyes again 8)

A big thank you to everyone who sponsored groups and to everyone who entered dogs, most had a fairly long jurney but I think jinnyfizz takes the award for the most miles covered travelingall the way up from bodmin (and her beast's ran very well for her :p )

The cattering was good the land owner even bringing a portaloo in to ensure everyone was well cattered for (saved everyone walking through his house to use the loo

once again a big thank you to Jeff/Nigel for offering the support of the UK WORKING WHIPPET CLUB

a big thank you to the 3 Judges who did a great job in the show classes, and to geordie who kept the dogs organised as slip steward in the lure coursing and acting as line judge for the straight racing and kieren/Harry for sitting on the back of the quad all day rethreading the lure.

and a special thanks to the landowner who without their support these events would not be possible.

and to Aaron Atmore who as ever did a cracking job slipping

if ive missed anyone out please accept my appologies but i'm still a bit tired.

The field was in great condition and we even had the sun with a slight cooling breeze, I'm sure there arnt many this morning waking up without a tan?.

Hopefully Annie will be posting some more pics later as Ted was snapping away during the day and I know he gets some great pictures

Seriously well done one and all ... we had a fantastic day and I will post pictures later, promise.

A slight correction to the 16 dog stake results ... I had to withdraw Mallyfield Silver Knight (Finn) just before his semi final so Elgedane Silver Slip got a bye. Poor Finn has injured a foot but nothing too serious.

Back with a proper post when I've sorted through all the pictures Ted took.

Annie

Many thanks to those who organised and ran this event and to all the congratulations on Littl'Un's wins....he is a star  . And has been resting today :))

Mika also ran very well, bless her, even with her build and at 7yr old she can give a good run for her money. That 'flat' ground suited her ;)

Congratulations to all those who ran, the dogs did us all proud. Esp Ironic who just never seemed to tire

I look forward to seeing the photos :D

Regards
