What a brilliant venue ... a nearer field on a gentle slope for parking etc., and a further undulating field on which to run the coursing, all in a beautiful corner of North Yorkshire ... thank you so much to the landowners for putting up with us all

My Finn (Mallyfield Silver Knight) on the left, followed by Finlay (Mableshounds Dark Night) running in the main 16 dog stake

Jinnyfizz Jane's Irie (Carbozier Ironic)

Ted took a fair few photos, so just a selection here ... I've named the dogs where I'm sure of who's who ... sorry if I didn't know your or your dogs name.

My 'pup' Taran (Quickslip Midnight) ... just days off his first birthday it was his first lure course and we were so pleased with him ... totally unfazed in the slips, and in the straight racing although Ted fumbled and slipped him at least 3 lengths behind the others by the finish line he'd caught them up !

My Tyg (Blackvelvet Knight) watching the action

My Finn (Mallyfield Silver Knight) waiting with Finlay (Mableshounds Dark Night) for slipper Aaron Atmore to be ready for them.

I always start my boys in muzzles ... they seem to know that means it's serious and not just a bit of fun with the lure machine. Sadly we had to withdraw Finn before his semi-final run due to an injury to his paw (nothing major). Apologies for not remembering the names of Finlay's owners, but what a cracking dog ... it may have been his first lure coursing competition but I'm sure it won't be his last

Oops ... Becka Abbot's Otis (Cyanara Ice Saint of Niisyf)

A few of Jinnyfizz Jane's Irie (Carbozier Ironic) ... the dynamo dog who ran six courses yesterday ... entered as a reserve in both the 16 and 8 dog stakes he got to the semi finals in the fomer and won the latter !! The other dog in the first three pics is Swift Dragon (sorry, no idea of call name or owners name :b ) The fourth pic is from the 8 dog stake, no idea who the other dog is there, sorry.

I think it's my Murphy (Parkstone Simply Red) in the first 3 pics and Penny (Veetay Ellie Blues) in the fourth. Great pictures

the little girl in the bottom pic also won the child handler winner I think but she was very proud of the fact that her dogs birthday was the same days as hers and wanted to tell everyone

Sorry if I've got it wrong ... the first three pics are from the first course in the main stake if that helps.

Great pics , looks like a fun day out

Well done to all :))

Looks like a wonderful day was had by all.

So glad to see Jane having some me time .

Lovely action shots, my camera is just not fast enough (or I am too slow!)

Looks like it was a wonderful day. Great pictures.

Hope Finn is ok and am sure he is sofa dreaming of that next course.

Just spotted these.....great pictures

Did anyone take a photo of Elgedane Silver Slip (Finn) with his runner up certificate? We had to leave early so we missed out on the show and prize giving and he ran brilliantly (as did all the dogs).

Hopefully we'll be able to stay till the end at the next event. A few pics I did manage to take:
