We had just finished our dinner with my daughter and her boyfriend and where in the front room talking when I could hear Poppy crunching something in the kitchen. She had reached onto the worktop and got a chicken leg left overs and had eaten it all, how she reached I do'nt know because it was pushed right back. Will she be ok as I know they are not to eat cooked chicken bones.

Just keep an eye on her but she will be fine i'm sure. One of mine nicked an entire cooked chicken carcass out of the bin & had no ill effects!

There is no bigger thief than a whippet! (w00t)

I always say they are the greediest things on 4 legs! Mine eat no amount of rubbish out on their walks plus whatever they can steal indoors.

Worst they ever ate was when we took them on holiday & the day we left the cottage we drained all the fat & oil out of the frying pan & chip pan & poured it into cartons & put out in the rubbish with all the chicken bones & chop bones from our week stay.

Little did we know whilst we were packing the van, they crept out the back, raided the bin & ate the lot, pure fat & oil plus untold cooked bones!!

Were they ill............................not a sign & they still ate their dinners when they got home!
