The Caledonian Thistle Pedigree Whippet Racing Club are having our first fun day of the year on May 30th

Show classes -

Best Racing whippet

Best Non Ped Whippet

Best Show Whippet

Best Whippet Puppy

Best Veteran Whippet

Best Racing Beagle

Hound classes - dogs/bitches under 25" and over 25"

Lurcher Classes - dogs/bitches under 25" and over 25"

Best Pet

Veteran classes in each section

Trophys and rosettes to be won

Booking in for the show and racing/fun runs is between 9.00 and 10.00, show starts at 10.00am, and racing starts at 1pm :thumbsup:

Beagle racing for the Jan Bell Memorial trophy

Pedigree Whippet racing

Non Pedigree whippet racing

Fun runs

Raffle

On site facilities - toliet, shower, car park, food, drink and camping

Its a great day out for everyone

Venue -

Inch Farm, Kincardine on Forth

Follow road over Kincardine bridge to roundabout 1 mile, turn right, right hand turn just before Longannet Power station

I think it may be the gracehounds fundraiser at Volgrie next Sunday too. Midlothian Greyhound rescue. Choices, choices, choices (w00t)
 
We are hoping to come along, maybe nearer lunch time to watch with Penny. Hope the weather stays nice for everyone!
 
We are going to try and come,,Gary might be playing football,,so will try and come after his game,,wont be racing or showing the boys,,be nice to see yous all again :thumbsup: ,,hope the sun is shining,,or just stays dry (w00t)

Fingers crossed for good weather, its going to be a great day, and we have got a professional photographer coming to take loads of pictures of the dogs, and there will be loads of rosettes and trophies, so come along and join us :cheers:

Hope its dry,,,Gary playing on saturday,,so Sunday we can come,,cant wait to see my old pals,,Kids excited too,,Just hope Robbie over is sick bug,,poor wee man being sick,,,wants to eat,,but brings it back up,,no scoots,,just cant keep food down,,,going to roast chicken for him tomorrow,,see if he can keep it down,,if not,,hes at the vet,,Gizmo is bouncing,,looking good,,hope to see yous soon,,,wont come unless I think the boys not going to carry a bug to the club,,,,If Robbie is the same tomorrow,,I need to get him checked out,,,so think I will miss this fun day,,I realy dont want to give this to other dogs,,,bet hes bouncing tomorrow,,if not hes at the vet,,robbie is happy in himdelf,,but sad too,,he wants to play,,but its hard work,,will phone you Jill,,in a day or so,,have fun
 
Hi Jill,

Thanks for the pm - would love to come along (and may well make it). Finn's had a mega dose of Tonsilitis (bad mummy kept saying 'You'll be fine in a day or two') - until he could hardly swallow and had a temp of 40....oh dear. Double dose of antibiotics now :unsure:

Anyway, if he's feeling fine by Sunday, hope to catch up with you there. Tipsy would love to see her Granny and her Daddy and her sister again I'm sure!!

Pearl would just love to see everyone! :thumbsup:
 
It would be great to see you and the family Sarah, and Tipsy might get to meet her grandad !!
 
We wont be there tomorrow,,Robbie is very ill,,the vet said as I went there fast he should be fine,,got 3 jabs and tablets,,he's not out the woods yet,,but He's a tough wee man,,but will phone you and let you know how he is. Wont pass on what Robbie has,,got to be safe,,Have a great day,,hope we can make the next funday :thumbsup: Had to drive an automatic car to get rob to the vet as John was out with Gary,,,god nearly put Rachel and Rob through the windscreen,,forgot no clutch,,kept hitting the break,,but we got there in the end,,see yous soon xx
