Unfortunately my mum made the heartbreaking decision to have Zak put to sleep today. He will be very sadly missed by all of us, He was a lovely dog with an amazing nature and wonderful stud career. He had a very good 14 years in the best home. Zakki will live on in his puppies if anyone is lucky enough to have one.

Run free Zakki. :(
 
So so sorry to read this, it is always so sad to part with old friends but I know he had a wonderful home and a fabulous loving family who let him have a great racing career and a long and fruitful retirement.

I know you'll be feeling awful at the min,but you've done the right thing by Zac,Yvonne.It's the worse decision to have to make,mate and I commend you on doing what was right for him.Sleep tight Zac,you'll be missed by us all.
 
so sorry to hear this yvonne i know this would have been a heartbreaking decision . RIP zak i no he will be greatly missed, he had a fantastic racing career, retierment and has produced some of the best dogs in whippet racing. Run free zak, im sure his off springs will continue his memory on for you. Toni xx
