Hi Lucy

Thank you so much for posting the pictures of Sadie. They brought tears to my eyes. She was so much like her mum, who is now just over 12 and enjoying life to the full. I also have Sadies half brother and sister.

I hope time will help heal the pain but try to remember the happy times. She really was much loved and i couldn't have asked for a better home for her.

Take care

Debbie

Have just seen the pics of Sadie and they are all beautiful but isn't the last one lovely - his 'n' her coats or 'her' and 'her' coats. What a lucky girl she was to be so loved - wouldn't it be nice if all whippets could experience this.

I am so sorry for the loss of your little girl, it is heartbreaking. We lost our beloved Dolly last year and i think about her every day.

Mojo our male had a a fit after running into my leg in the garden, he hit the base of his skull on my knee. We took him to the vets )he was stiff and couldnt move. He was in the vets for three days and when he came out he dragged his legs on one side. We had to keep putting his feet in the right place and over the next week and a half he got better. He was back to normal, thankfully and still is. Tghis is my only experience of mine havinf fits, luckily Mojo was ok.

Your pictures are beautiful and you can tell you loved her to bits, run free sweet girl.

Thanks again to everyone for your kind words, and I'm so sorry others have been through similar agony. AS people say, I'm trying to just rememebr the happy memories but the truth is I just want ehr back so much.

That last picture makes me smile too TillynPip - Sadie and my cob never seemed to notice the differnece in size or species, he was always so gentle with her and when I first went out hacking with the dogs he used to almost tip me over his nose slamming on the brakes if we were leaving one of the dogs behind :D

I am so sorry for your loss, run free beautiful girl :huggles:
