The most animated conversation on this forum for ages has just been closed.

No vindictiveness, no nastiness, just a bit of jovial banter.

I'm not pointing fingers at the moderator. She has responded to a request. I have asked before for threads to be closed when people have been horrible, naming people etc etc.

But this was all a bit of banter, Cartman's "Mr ..... school of judging" comment possibly could have been removed but other than that no real harm in it ?

Nah....I think it was the comment about the English sending their less than desirables to Australia.....from way back in 1788....... It's a shame that a bit of harmless fun gets taken so seriously- and this from the home of people such as Benny Hill and John Cleese.

Truth be told though the best judges we get over here for specialties are by far the UK whippet breeder judges.

The original post really closed the topic. I gave it a couple of days but it had gone as far as it was ever going to go, as I said there is nothing to stop anyone starting another on a different subject.

Nah, I dont think so. Andrew Brace was named & shamed. It is public record. Maybe just a case of the truth hurts. Maybe this thread will be closed down as well.

Some folk dont like `Banter` Cartman , and some folk cant take critisisum ( sp) ( some like me cant spell either lol .

Id be interested who said this about fawns , esp as Im showing one , would nt want to waste any more money now would I .

I used to like it when we `predicted` the winners too esp when we wus right. although it did cost me a long friend ship

Im always happty to be proved wrong on guessing who will get top honours and it restores my faith in said judges ;)

dont think it was the comment on the undesirables which i presume your one of :- just a case of this forum turning into one big rescue centre and valid discussion and banter is stopped on a regular basis

Speaking as one of the rescue bods ... I was enjoying it even if I wasn't entirely sure what it was about ;)

Having fun by telling the truth................
