DORSET LURCHER RACING AND JOHN MILES RAN THE RACING AT THE TIVERTON LURCHER SHOW THIS YEAR.

THERE WERE AN UNDER AND OVER 23" STAKES FOR THE LURCHERS AND tERRIER RACING.

CHAMPION LURCHER 'SKY' OWNED BY HELEN KNOWLES.

RESERVE CHAMPION 'SNIPER' OWNERS NAME UNKNOWN.

3RD 'MOUSE' OWNED BY TISH CURRAN.

4TH 'MAURI' OWNED BY ANN MASON AND SID DEARDS.

UNDER 23" LURCHER STAKES.

CHAMPION LURCHER 'HOY' OWNED BY JOHN MILES.

RESERVE CHAMPION 'TESS' OWNED BY LUCY CONNOLLY.

3RD 'FLEET' OWNERS NAME UNKNOWN.

4TH 'FERN' OWNED BY CARYL HARRIS.

CHAMPION TERRIER 'LOLA' OWNED BY TISH CURRAN.

RESERVE CHAMPION 'ROLY' OWNERS NAME UNKNOWN.

A BIG THANKYOU TO BARRY AND HOLLIE WHO CAME AND HELPED AT VERY SHORT NOTICE AND KEV WHO WAS A GREAT HELP ON THE DAY ESPECIALLY GETTING THE TERRIERS OFF THE LURE.ALSO TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART IN THE RACING AND TO THE DOGS WHO RAN LIKE THE WIND AND MADE A REAL COMPETION OF IT.THANKS ALSO TO NICK AND THE HUNT FOR SETTING UP THE COURSE AND MOWING IT AND FOR LETTING US USE YOUR QUAD BIKE.

THE WHOLE DAY WAS REALLY GOOD, ESPECIALLY AS THEY HAD A WORKING LURCHER JUDGE THAT GAVE THE REST OF US HALF A CHANCE TO WIN. THE QUALITY OF THE DOGS ATTENDING THE SHOW WAS AMAZING.

WE HAVE BEEN ASKED TO DO THE RACING AGAIN NEXT YEAR AND HOPEFULLY WE WILL BE READY FOR THE TERRIERS AS WELL. WE HAVE NEVER USED A TRAP TO LET DOGS OUT OF BEFORE BUT WE LIVE AND LEARN.

thanks for putting on the racing and results ) its nice when every thing runs smoothly ,i was pleased with mouse comming in 3rd in the overs and of course my little lola :wub: did me proud in the terriers

I was proud of my Sky for winning the racing, she also won her class as well in the showing, Smooth Bitch Over 23" :wub: :wub:

Brindle also had 4th in both his classes as well Poor Belle how ever was at home in season!!!

Thanks everyone for all your hard work....it was a well run event and everything went smoothly.....well all except for actually trying to find the place to start with!! More signage please :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
