hope there is a few going up, i want to see more intrest in this to get me to travel up
 
I'm planning to be there with my whippet for some racing. Just got started and keen to attend such an event. Hope there's some competition there too. Should be fun.

Well done Vanessa and your very helpful assistant!!!! HaHa!! Stop worringing about having put on a good day, it was a great day out and i'm sure everyone else will agree. Well done to everyone who took part.
 
Was a good day out, very nice not having yapping dogs to worry about.

Some good close races and nice to see a variety of breeds all doing well :thumbsup:

And Norman enjoyed racing with them too, even though he had to wear the Whippet's muzzle which was too big and covered his eyes! He still tried his best though!

I think he would have run again and again if he'd had the chance- not bad for an 11 year old and not even a trace of stiffness today! (w00t)

Thanks so much to Vanessa and the other organisers- it was a lovely well organised day, and great to watch the different breeds racing.

I hope there is another race day soon.
