Does anyone have any idea how I can find out about lure coursing with my lurchers? I live in Nottinghamshire and have looked on the net but all my efforts have dead ends at the moment. :(

OK so for ages I have been looking for a lure coursing club to take the dogs to, particulary Diesel just to give them something to do, well I found one, the only thing is its in the same place that I got Diesel from, so at the moment Im in two minds whether to go, just encase the man I got him from is there, or even the person who bred him, although I have never met him Id still worry about it.

The biggest thing is that I am worried about is that I will get stressed there thinking about what happened, and if this happens I dont think that it will benefit the dogs in the way that I want it to because of them getting any negative feelings from me, I just dont know what to do about it, Im thinking of going and having a look and seeing what its about next time its on without having the dogs present, although the man might not even course his dogs its still weighing on my mind.

So what do you think, do you think that I am over reacting about this? And what would you do?

dont know the full story but reading through the lines,i can make my own picture but i could be bang out with it,have you gave the lurcher a first class home is your dog happy,do you do your best by it,then nose in the air and off you go with your dog or dogs.Believe me you will have more enjoyment watching your dog enjoying itself than smacking some one in the nose.Go enjoy yourself.
