You don't have Juney on the job getting rid of the idiots anymore :teehee:
You can tell troublemakers a mile off. You can prevent them from posting, and sooner or later they do get fed up with getting new email addresses, and registering under different names. Trouble is you need lots of time to keep an eye on things. I got very little thanks for doing it for 10 years, and I'm glad not to have to anymore - life is so much simpler
WE MISS YOU ON HERE JUNEY ITS NOT THE SAME ANYMORE XX

I think we got the message!!!! (w00t) Thrice!

I rarely post on here now :(
Me too. :(

I have been a member since April 2004 when Dolly was a puppy and I got Remmy through being on K9. I used to really love it and have spent many hours reading a lot of interesting, informative and amusing posts, as well as really enjoying other people's photos. So many people seem to have gone elsewhere which is such a pity.

Tis sad , I used to spend lots of time on here , but just couldn,t put up with the bickering and slatting that was going on .I have had new puppy owner come on , but soon left after unfair comments .

would be good to get K9 back to the old days .

Pots and Kettles come to mind

I rarely post on here now :(
same here cant be botherd with the back lash if you face doenst fit on that day. its a shame its was a good site i just pop on for the non ped new and thats it

I don't post much on here either, been a member since 03..just got fed up with all the nastiness on here and bickering :( ........used to love it on here, everyone one being so freindly and giving good advice without it turning into a slanging match, such a shame really.

I have made lots of friends via K9, got my Maia through 1 of those friends (thanks Dawn  ) and also in the early days got lots of advice and support (w00t) I do log in and read new posts nearly every day so do see the stupid, backstabbing and sometimes downright rude things that a few idiots post, honestly my kids in school behave better than certain people on here  I very rarely post anymore mainly because most of my friends from here are on Facebook too so I can share news, problems and get advice on there with the knowledge that no stupid ar** will make 'comments'

I regularly posted local show results but rarely got any recognition for the effort typing out results. I love to read results from around the country from others that post results but it seems that lots read but never post replies anymore! Such a shame as I don't get to read posts on the 'other side' (through no fault of my own!) I also use Facebook more but it's not the place to post full results! Come on everyone let's make an effort in the New Year!

I agree its time we got K9 back to what it used to be.

I pop in most days to find out whats happening but rarely post any news as I got fed up of certain people trying to start arguements in every thread that is posted

i blame facebook :teehee:

if i didnt have half the k9members as friends, i would be on here alot more than what i am :b

Its a shame i used to love this site, but don't bother posting much anymore. :(

I for one would like to see it back as it was ( Like Tiger Lily ) I dont go on the other side either, and dont wish to.

Lets hope to get posting in the new year everyone.

I go over to the other side but only to get the results from the shows if they are not on here. I always look here first to see if the results are here

The other side is not a good place to be , this side was always better

Use facebook now as you only talk to your friends ...... Simples lol
I joined Facebook a little while ago, but I don't feel it can replace K9. It is great for viewing photos, but I find it a bit difficult to follow really. You don't seem to get the same interesting and informative topics that used to be on K9.

I think if people could just put aside their personal differences and not vent them on the forum, K9 could return to being the friendly place it used to be. When new people join K9 to ask a question, I often feel they are scared off because of the negative/rude responses. We all had to learn about our dogs at some point in time, and we should respect that everyone has to start somewhere. :)

I do feel there are sometimes double standards too in the responses different people get (for example about having a litter or needing to rehome a dog)!!

I personally don't want to see animals being killed, so I choose not to view the section of the forum where those photos are likely to be. Just the same as the TV - I switch over/off. However, I don't try to argue with people about it just because I disagree - it is their choice (assuming it is within the law). We all have different opinions. For example topics about neutering can get quite heated, but we are all entitled to our own views, and we should not stoop to being personally rude to others just because we have differing opinions.

Come on K9 - let's get back to the fun place it used to be.

I also use facebook and have some people from k9 as my friends on there but Sarah is right - it isn't a substitute when you are a first timer with whippets, don't know anyone else who has them and need advice. I got fantastic advice off some people on here two years ago when I got Roscoe and Grover but noticed that gradually I had to be more and more careful about how I worded things in case someone decided to attack. eg I posted a pic of a cut Ros got on his foot when he was little and someone decided to have a go at me for using a harness (which you could see on the pic) saying I would wreck his back!!!! Like LM1981 I once asked about how to stop the dogs running up to other dogs and got a barrage of abuse saying it was my fault.

It got so I stopped asking as I was reading my posts over and over again to see how people could find fault with what I was doing/ asking. It was stupid as the little problems you have with dogs could be sorted easily by asking a question on here instead of struggling through on your own.

I will start posting stuff again if we are all in the same spirit - and if people put things in the right section. I'm not bothered by a few dead bunnies but it annoys me when people post that in 'General Whippets' just to big themselves up and make a point that doesn't really need making.

as some of you know i have been going through a really tough time these last 6 weeks

and if it wasn't for k9 i wouldn't have had the support from my wonderful

friends that i have made on here

so lets just all be friends again like it used to be when i 1st joined k9

life is to short
