My dog Pete age nine has chipped his large canine tooth :( bless him any advice?, he is eating and no pain, think he must have done it last week when he misjudged a wall!!, ooch hurt his shoulder and wounds to his legs all ok  now but noticed the tooth today. He got excited and usually jumps the wall ok its only two foot!! but think he slipped, it was dark and very excited!!! then very embarrassed :(

Our GSD did the exact same thing, vet advised to leave it and gave us a course of antibiotics, it wasn't casuing him any pain either, the tooth died, turned a nasty colour and dropped out on it's own. We call him gummy bear now!
