We took Silas to Blagdon near Bristol for Christmas. He was great on the train even though the journey home took 6 hours door to door - car, train, bus, bus! No complaints, just slept most of the time, occasionally waking up to accept some love from strangers. There was a 6 year old collie bitch in the house we stayed at for 5 days which really didn't like him - constantly growling, snapping and trying to ignore him. She's just very highly strung, never hurt him though, just clearly hostile body language. He was ultra confident and tried relentlessly for the whole time to play and gain her approval but it didn't really happen - she thawed a little bit, but no proper friendliness to speak of. They slept together in the kitchen and didn't fight in the night which was a relief. He loved being off the lead all the time though, bounding across the fields and went on some great woodland path adventures just the 2 of us. He's great at not going out of range off lead. Here are some pics:

Beautiful photos. Silas is really gorgeous and has such striking eyes.

He's nearly 4 months old now. His eyes are very light coloured and quite human! I know his xylophone ribs make him look like an abuse case, but I promise we're giving him suggested amount!

Such a gorgeous boy and I love that last photo of him. Milo still tries to lie like that despite being 21"!

He is lovely. Reminds me a bit of my boy Jago when he was a pup.

Silas is a little beauty... lovely to see him out and about in the snow...lovely pictures.
