Westhoughton Belated Xmas Handicap

On Sunday 6th Feb we'll be running what should have been our Christmas Handicap, no set weight classes, dogs to run yd/lb against others of similar weight/size (vets 5yrs & over, yd/yr), also classes for Scratch, Pedigrees & Lurchers with goody bags for the winners - all pre entry in by Saturday 5th so programmes can be made up.

Hi Vicky could you book both Jade and Gemma in for the Over 23" lurcher racing please. What time does it start and will you be doing a raffle, if so do you want prizes.

Hi Vicky will there still be trailing on Sunday if so can we book in Meg and what time do you start.

1.30 start as usual and we'll do trials for anyone wanting them :thumbsup:

Oh and we'll be holding a raffle, so if anyone has anything suitable lying around we'd be glad of any prizes.

We then had some more trials and the lurchers & salukis did some 6 bend racing :thumbsup: Andy (I think) won the 6 bends for the lurchers and Soraya won for the salukis. :thumbsup:

Congratulations to Twisted Sister, Mule Skinner, Deadly Cocktail and Andy all winning huge sacks of goodies and the other finalists prize money. :thumbsup:

(Andy's owner needs to pick up his bag and also his prize money I've still got from the Sailaway Open!!)

Huge Thanks to all the runners and the workers and especially Vicky for simultaneously organising the entries, racing and handicap whilst moving house!! (w00t) Hope your settling in well. :thumbsup:

Good day at wessy today some good races well done all the winners especially craig with hagler (marvin) good to see him back on the track again well done to everyone who took part :thumbsup:

Well done everyone involved in todays racing ; workers, owners and of course the dogs. Some cracking races, particularly impressive were Mule Skinner, Moonbound (2 excellent runs from this young dog) and Deadly Cocktail.

Marvin came off sound which was wonderful to see considering how ill he had been. Craig's messaged me though and apparently poor Bob's picked up a tear which is a shame. Hope your feeling better soon Bob :luck:
