Cornish Lurcher Clubs & Shows

Hi can anyone give me details of any Lurcher Groups/Clubs that are running shows/events in Cornwall. I've been away from the Lurcher scene for a while now and cannot find any details on the web, there used to be a show in St.Agnes around April/May is this still running, the place near Helston's website now only has a blank home page, I gather from some older posts that folded as well.

Hi, Helsbels16 off here organises the 'Lambo Beagles' two day Lurcher & Terrier show in the middle of August near Lands Ends.

Great show, also racing, sim coursing, hurdles & long jump. Suggest you PM her, she can probably help you with other shows in

Cornwall, the lurcher scene has died there yet !!!! Hope this helps.

Helsbels also runs the Stithians dog show in August....hurdles,showing and racing :thumbsup:
 
Thanks for your replies folks, I've been in touch with Helsbels and have been given details of the 2 shows later in the year. It's a shame that from what I understand was in-fighting within the club, that the Cornish Lurcher club has folded, why is it always the minority spoils it for the rest,some people are never happy with what others do even though in most cases they are doing it for free donating there time and effort for others benefit, I just cannot understand it why if your not happy with something then offer to fix it yourself don't just condemn the people that are running things for free.

Sorry thats my rant for the day lol :angry:

:thumbsup: My show, Crewkerne Lurcher & Terrier show is on Easter Sunday and details will be put up here shortly.Crewkerne is on the Dorset/somerset border but we have overnight camping available.

:sweating: Thanks for your replies I'll try to get to ths one in Crewkerne and some of the others that u kind people have mentioned.
 
I was hopeing to get a terrier /lurcher show ,coursing going in conjuntion with my Companion show in the summer . If any one is interested please PM me .

I am only 15 miles from the Tamar bridge (Devon side) so would def be interested :thumbsup:
 
The more shows down here the better :thumbsup: ... there are some cracking dogs down here that dont get there chance to shine ;)

Lizzy tells me this show will be held in Bodmin for all those interested, date still to be confirmed :))
