Hi, we were filling out our entry forms for Scruples and the Andover open last night and realised we haven't got one for the Nationals on the 01/05/11. Can anyone tell me where i can get one please.

If you pm me with your email address then I'll send one to you.

All on-line members should have received an entry form by now. Check your emails and if you haven't then email me.

Don't forget about the new rule on underweight dogs. Any queries about it then contact Longdog (Andrew Ingley) our race manager.

No-one has email us either Dave, they must have a thing about us lot lol

Recieved my email  , though this is time consuming way of getting the championship forms to people (w00t) , can an upload not be put on here and of course the NPWRA site.

Maybe if the venue/date was left blank it could be used for all champ's...........just a thought

At the 2010 AGM it was proposed by a member that dogs shouldn't be allowed to go 'up' more than one weight group. This was put to the members for a NPV and was voted in to begin in 2011.

I hope that this explains the rule. When deciding on which group to race your dogs in at the future National Championships, don’t forget that dogs are now limited to only going up one weight group (i.e. a 19lb dog can only race in the 20 or 22 lbs group).

ps I've added this to the home page of the website now, thanks for asking Derek I'm sure that you aren't the only one wondering. (pps I did put an explanation in the winter newsletter).

if they dont have a computer then email is also not valid option!!

as I remember, the club secretaries always had a folder with all the up and coming Opens etc, do they still do that?, I always get mine from the computer these days

In the NPWRA's case I get asked for them and I send out paper copies.

Pretty much though most of the club secs are on-line these days. Just the 2 clubs that I can think of who haven't got an on-line club sec and I post entry forms out to both of those people and will be doing so in the next few days.

I think that the old folder system has more or less died out these days Lesley.

Prehaps it's worth a mention at club AGM's, I know new comers sometimes struggle to keep up with closing dates etc,the help of a secretary would ,I'm sure, be welcomed to them and non- computer users

I ment that i still struggle with closing dates after 17 years lol (w00t)

I am sure most of you know by now that I am having a Bring and Buy Stall at the 1st Nationals at Andover so please can you all look out anything you would like to donate and bring on the day. It does not have to be dog related. An indication of price would be appreciated.

I have lots of really nice things already and there are some real bargains to be had.

My 'knitted whippets' are going faster than I can make them. I can now knit YOUR whippet if requested (although the brindle ones look slightly odd). June Foster today gave me some soft leather to make tiny collars for them......................

Thank you all in advance.

I still do print off several forms for open Lesley, but I do usually end up throwing most in the recycling bin as everyone seems to have their own downloads these days.

I will have 'the old folder' with me next Sunday!

Does getting a NPWRA passport qualify you for an entry form?

If so, can I get one too please.
