i'd like to thank everyone for their kind words/support about zena. a big thank you to jac for all her advice and managing to put up with me on the phone twice in one day :p mum rang earlier to say zena is being xrayed this morning and once the vets can see exactly what she's done they will decide from there the best course of treatment for her

edited to add: just heard from mum its a bad break so she is being refered to a specialist

sending you lots of cuddles zee

Fingers crossed Sally that everything goes well at the specialist, lots of love to you all xx

spoken to mum and zena is being kept in overnight so she can be x-rayed again tomorrow and have her leg plated, hopefully she should be back home on wednesday or thursday. its a worse break than first thought as one of the bones has splintered and the specialist thinks there might be a chip of bone in her leg that the first x-ray hasnt shown.

so sorry to hear this sally and elaine realley hope a full recovery

 All the best of luck to your girls :luck: and I hope all will be A1, :luck:

well it was 6 weeks on sunday since zena broke her leg and she was xrayed today so thought i'd give everyone a quick update, her leg has healed really well and the vets are pleased with her progress and us. we can start walking her a bit more and hopefully she can come and watch racing soon :)
