The first three months of our show year in Qld have been plagued by an extended wet season, which seemed like it was never going to cease, and floods.

However, most recently the Aslan Team have had a fantastic couple of weeks. Whilst we have been without a computer for most of it, we're catching up with stuff now.

On the 26th March at the Bowen KC Open Show, little Cilla - Aslan Clad in Black (Gilnockie Ace of Spades (Imp UK) x Ch Phoenway Blue Anjil) - went BEST IN SHOW at the tender age of 8 months!!!! Judge was Mr J Whitehead (Qld).

The next day at the Champ Show under Mr T Valli (NSW), Cilla's mother Jillie, Ch Phoenway Blue Anjil, went BEST IN SHOW!!!!!

Last weeekend at Pioneer Valley KC's two champ shows, with judges Mr W Smith and Mrs T McDonald, Gr Ch Aslan That's Amore, Dino, went Best In Group both days and took his class in show on the Sunday. Little black and white Cilla was MINOR PUPPY IN SHOW both days!!!!!

Congradulations to all the winners, However Roma was unable to judge. The Italian fella that judged the Dachshund show did it instead.

Oh, my apologies, I had forgotten that. Sorry.

Mrs Wright-Smith had a car accident didn't she? Has anyone heard if she is recovering well?

Did Roma have the car accident in Aus ?

Itss been very hard to get any info about her . I Know she has moved house and no one i know has her new details , Even Edith newton has asked me for details .

Thanks Jackie. She's a very perfect 18 inches tall as well. There's not a lot I would change about her

I have not heard anything more about Mrs Wright-Smith's progress I'm afraid - and not sure where the accident happened.

Sorry, just catching up with lists.

Roma's accident was in the UK and she required surgery to her neck. We were very sorry she was unable to make the trip but understand and sincerely hope she makes a full recovery and is able to come and judge our dogs next year.

Cheers

Toni
