I took a phone call last night asking me to take in this little chappie. He had been living in a shed and the owner's wife said that the dog had to go there and then. As you can see he is very thin and just needs a bit of tlc. My plan is to foster him for the moment and then when he is fit enough to rehome him. We have renamed him Felix and he is adorable. I will keep you posted as to his progress.

Good on ya Ali. Bless you and him. Hopefully see you all tomorrow xxx

 Well done Ali, although we all know the phrase 'failed fosterer' so the rehoming bit could be the hardest part ;) I'm sure Felix will thrive in no time at all.

Bless you for taking him in; look at that cheerful little face, poor little lad.

well done good luck with him :luck:

Having met this little chap I can vouch for him being an absolute poppet  And he's really landed on his paws with Ali and Ben. He's a happy chap and not unhealthy, he just needs lots of feeding up and loads of cuddles, which he's not averse to asking for by plonking himself in your lap ! Good luck with him Ali :luck:

Aww poor little man! Love the colour ( but then I would say that) Well done for giving him a loving home

What a beautiful boy.  Well done for taking him in.

I hope he finds his forever home when he is fit enough. :luck:

So lovely of you to take him in, especially at short notice. He's beautiful.

Also, I took in a stray whippet x last year from the pound 'to foster for a week until she was claimed' and 9 months on she's still here and going nowhere....they have their ways of getting around you!

He is gorgeous  Well done for taking him in although I don't know how you will be able to part with him!

What a beautiful boy  Looks like you both got lucky :luck: :luck: :luck:

Awww he's gorgeous  What's he like with cats, do you know?

I'm a failed fosterer too.....fostered an abused & neglected 16yo cat and she's still here 6 months later....and going NOWHERE!!!! ;) Other cats I've fostered until they found their perfect home but darling Domino is here for good
