Haven't been on for a while as have been missing my pointy activities.

Rowan is healing well from his car crash 3 months ago and this week had a skin graft to hopefully close up the last bit of his wound. He's a bit sore and has an nice seam down his side where the piece has come from to patch up his leg - patchwork pup or Frankensteins lurcher? But we're hoping the graft will take and he'll be on the home straight now.

I think it shows how knocked about he was that he's not been climbing the walls all this time - and he's healed so well due to being pretty fit at the time of the crash - the average pet pooch would not have had the lung capacity to survive the lung damage and to begin with the vets were talking about if he survived taking his toe or leg off!

He's a toughie after his name so hopefully we'll see you out and about sometime soon - take care all :)

hope he recovers very well I didn't no about the crash hope everyone was safe

Thanks everyone

- he's doing well, stitches out and side healed beautifully and vet says graft is looking good too. He's putting his foot down and has started chucking his toys around again - a good sign he's not hurting any more! I think the working lurcher classes will be the thing for him from now on - they might be impressed with the scars?? ;)

Can you believe though - think we've had more wind in the last 3 months than in the last 3 years! typical! Hey ho I'm sure he'll be up for bushing in the future even if not racing. Still don't think Gray'll let me have a puppy tho

Take care all

Sheona xx
