Not posted on here for absolute ages!! Anyway,Eric has a friend.... Alfie a whippy x border collie(we think) He came to us via a friend who has his mum(A 3 Legged rescued whippet) she was in pup when rescued, hence Alfie to us. He is 6 months old now and we got him at 10weeks aprox. Absolutely great together and 2 FAB dogs.

Great running photo.  I love Eric's ears!!

If Alfie has the Border Collie brains and the Whippet speed he would be great for agility.

Thanks,Yep fate came our way with Alfie :D He is a crackin dog, leggy but won't be as big as Eric.He has done fab seeing where he came from.

His coat is a bit rougher than Eric's silky short hair,But yes he has a great black/brown glossy coat  Yumega oil.... and decent food. Thanks everybody

What a gorgeous pair you have, it looks like Eric is loving having a new friend.

ooooooooooooo I think I may be in love with Alfie, having had collies most of my life and falling for whippets now big time, i think it makes a nice combination...not something to be done deliberately obviously!

Any more pics? of Mum or rest of litter???

His mum is with a friend of ours now, who works at a rescue shelter. She took her in and the pups(3) were also at the shelter when she informed us about them.

The pups all got homes quickly,Alfie to us and one of his brothers to a friend of my wife and the other went 1st pick to somebody.

His mum has 3 legs and she is a tiny whippet and was rescued from a bloke who had drink/drug probs,She was in pup. So because of the animal shelter and the pups going we could'nt get pics. Still see his mum now and again and saw Alfie's brother last week,he is very, very simular.

Thanks all
