Could someone please explain SLOWLY  how to upload pics on here both as my signature pic and also larger pics that are always there automatically at the end of all replies I send? I got to the "browse" bit, chose a pic, uploaded it, got a message to say it had uploaded sucessfully but then nothing appeared. I'm not the most internet savvy person so would you mind explaining bit by bit? Thanks, Sarah

havnt done it for a while, but i used to use photobucket,

join with them then upload your photos there, once they are there they have like links under them (url) for copying and pasting in here, then all you do is paste the link in the message box or your sig box and udpate it and the pic magically appears!

hope this helps

HELLS TEETH AND THE BEST OF BRITISH! I joined this site in April 09 and managed to upload photos and re-size them. Then one day computer message suddenly announced that these previously accepted pics were too big and it hasn't accepted any since. I've tried everything and have now given up, Gracie is coming up 2 1/2 and no-ones seen 16 month old Milo  Not the same when you can't post pics of your lovely hounds. :(

I use Photobucket and it is easy once you have got used to it. You don't need to resize photos as it does it for you (I think).

I usually open up K9 and start my 'New Thread' and keep it open and then start another tab for Photobucket.

1. Upload your photos to Photobucket. You can have different albums if you want to keep photos sorted separately.

2. Once uploaded, hovver your mouse over your chosen photo.

3. A tiny box appears under the photo. Click on the box and a tick appears. (You can choose more than one photo at a time).

4. Scroll down the page and beneath your photos it says Choose Action.

5. Click the little arrow and 4 options appear.

6. Choose Generate Link Codes.

7. A big box appears on the computer screen.

8. You want the section IMG for bulletin boards & forums.

9. There are then 2 choices - Clickable Thumbnails or Full Size.

10. Click your mouse over Full Size. This copies the 'link'. It goes yellow for a moment and says copied.

11. Click onto K9 and in your New Thread box just click paste and the 'link' appears. The photos don't actually show up until you have posted your new thread.

I am not certain if different computers vary with how things are displayed, but hope this helps. I remember printing off instructions from K9, but it was ages ago and I can't find them now.

Good Luck. :luck: :luck:
