Silken Windhound Speciality Germany

I was lucky enough to attend the 2 day Silkenfest in Germany last weekend. It was fabulous fun, gorgeous dogs, really nice people and a great venue (Dog City, Bremen). The highlight of the day for me was the BBQ on Saturday night when everyone let their dogs off lead to play - some 30 plus hounds, mostly silkens, and not a cross word between them. I also enjoyed the veteran bitch class where the handler showed her old girl without a lead, she just trotted along beside her and stood when required
