THE MIDLAND GAME FAIR September 17th & 18th At Weston Park, Shropshire, TF11 8LE. The Coursing Crew will be running all terrier & lurcher events over the weekend. Last chance to aquire points for the Countryman Challenge Trophy. (to be presented to the winner on the 18th after all field events are completed & points counted). All running events to take place in the mornings on both days. Simulated coursing, hurdles,straight racing 23" & under, over 23", puppies & terriers. SATURDAY ONLY "Lou Fowler Memorial Under 21" straight racing" & whippet straight racing. Entries taken from 8.30am to start as soon as first card is full. SATURDAY LURCHER OPEN SHOW -10am START, Followed by The Countryman's Weekly Champion of Champions for Lurchers - 2pm start. SUNDAY TERRIER OPEN SHOW -10am START, followed by The Countryman's Weekly Champion of Champions for Terriers -2pm START Enquiries call Paddy on 07737765999 (or on here)
 
Has anyone who has qualified for the Champion of Champions show (Lurchers) recieved there free pass yet ? ?

Still waiting on mine . . .
 
We had one arrive yesterday but are waiting on one for our other qualified bitch.

I'm guessing they're being sent out this week though.
 
Countryman's Weekly have posted all passes out that they have had paperwork in for from the show organisers. A few shows still to go over the next few weekends. hope your passes all arrive safe & sound!!

there was a bit off a HooHaa over someone qualifying more than one dog,recieved passes for each qualifier then offered them to anybody who wante them :clown: did nt go down right well with T at the countrymans weekly. Possibly tightened up on people with more than one qualifier?

Ooh maybe, would make sense. Although the qualifier was only last weekend so it may not have been processed yet.. We'll see, I'd have thought we'd still get the letter just maybe without the extra pass?

should still get a pass per qualified dog as you will need to take someone in to show the other dog for you.
 
anyone know whose got the job of judging the Champ of champ's ? ?
 
looking to go over to the midland game fair. can u get your ticket on the day? or pay your way in?
 
The judges names have not gone into the Countryman's this week, but a list of qualified dogs have. your lurcher Champion of Champions judges are Gary Andrews from Weston-super-mare & John Thomas from Wales.
