Italian Greyhound Garden Party
An invitation to all IG owners & families with other small four legged friends to enjoy an afternoon of fun and games; with other IG owners.
Sunday 25 September 2011 ~ 12 noon—4.00 pm.
at Lach Dennis Village Hall, Holmes Chapel Road Northwich, Cheshire CW9 7SZ ~ 8 mins for M6 – Junctions 18 (from south) or 19 (from north)
Bring your own picnic lunch – home-made refreshments for tea on sale
Fun Dog Show enter on the day
Judge Mrs Valerie Foss (a Crufts Best in Show Judge)
Golden Oldies for dogs over 8 years of age
Best Six Legs
Dog with most Appealing Eyes
Waggiest Tail
Best trick
Fancy Dress dog & Owner
Best Junior Handler under 16 years
Best Adult handler
Best Rescued dog
Best in Show – the dog the judge would like to take home
Other attractions include:
*Parade of Rehomed IG’s & IG Crossbreeds*
* IG Obedience Demonstration & Sponsored Stay. Sponsor forms can be downloaded from : www.italiangreyhoundclub.co.uk or www.italiangreyhoundrescuecharity.org.uk
* Mini Dog Agility display and have a go.
* IG Health Display with information about Research into Epilepsy affecting the breed.
* Drop in ‘Pawdicure’ sessions on keeping IGs nails short and teeth sparkling.
* Bring and Buy Book Stall
Plus
Iggy Recycling – Bring along your surplus IG items, travel boxes, beds, coats, figurines etc & sell them to a dedicated audience.
(Service charge of 10% for items sold over £10) smaller items for a donation to IG Rescue Charity
* Other stalls selling IG/dog related items
Photographic IG Show
Bring along your best IG photos and enter our competition, class winners will be featured in our 2012 Calendar.
Entry costs 50p per picture.
It will be helpful if they are printed from a good quality digital photo.
Please enclose a SAE for return of picture
