Today is day 56 and I do not think she will go the whole 63 days, although she did last time.

I really did not want Claudia to jump on the table, but the moment I walked in to the garden with the camera she was up, and sort of stacked; well, she keeps all her legs bit under herself nowadays. :)

With her last litter Claudia has not given any indications she will whelp; no nesting few days before; she started labour within couple of hours of gobbling up huge meal. So I am watching her like a hawk, and jump out of bed every time she moves.

This weekend is our specialty, judged by Cathie Brown; of-course we are not enetered and will not be even going to look :(

Gosh she is looking big. She looks very happy and relaxed on that table showing off her size. Good luck next week and remember to post some piccies of the news arrivals.

Awwww look at her, not long to go now ;) ! Flash is on day 55 and looks a little plumper than your Claudia........she is starting to look a little fed up with her large belly as it's preventing her usual mad dashes around the garden  . Best of luck with the whelping and the imminent arrivals

I am hoping for 6 and Claudia is bit bigger than she was last time at this stage

Congratulations! I wish mine were here, I am getting worried, but Claudia is pretty happy within herself, even jumped on the table again. I really did not want her to do that, but if she is feeling up to jumping from the ground, with some 5kg belly, she is OK. I wanted to take photo of her on the ground, or she could have gone up by jumping on the bench first.

I have never had a Whippet going the full 63 days, mine ranged ffrom 56 (yes I did have the dates right) to Claudia's last litter at 62, but most are 60 or less. friend who had a bitch due yesterday has taken her this morning for caesar. I keep telling myself there is a plenty of time for drastic action next week. But I am a nervous wreck LOL and had not slept properly for a week

To insert photo from photo bucket you need to click on the photo button above and insert copy of the "direct link" from drop down menu under the pic in FB

Congratulations on your upcoming babies Lida!

I hope you get what you want out of this litter. :)

Did you go back to rapscillian again? Looks like your going to have a few!
