JUST BEEN ON THE BWRA DATA BASE

TOOK A LOOK AT SOME OF MY PUPS

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY MISTAKES PUPS UNKNOWN

WE FILL IN MATING FORMS HOW MANY PUPS ARE BORN

THEN WHEN THERE REGISTERD THE PARENTS NAMES ARE CHECKED WITH THE BREEDERS FORMS

DATE OF BIRTH ALSO CHECKED

THEN WHEN IT GOES TO THE DATA BASE PUPS ARE PUT ON WITH

DAM AND SIRE UNKNOWN

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY THIS IS HAPPENING

IT MAKES A JOKE OF THE BROOD BITCH AND STUD DOG COMPERTITION

WHEN THE PEOPLE RUNNING IT CANT FIND HOW PUPS ARE BRED

It'll be because Malcolm Clarke database is a separate thing from the BWRA and he's probably reliant on people informing him rather than being given BWRA paperwork. I presume they have to keep BWRA paperwork themselves as record.

Malcolm does the database off his own back and funds it all himself. With such a massive task, occasional mistakes will be inevitable. Best thing you can do Gary is send him an email with corrections. I know Lennie's legs breeding is incorrect (incase you didn't know).

i know it does get updated so maybe it just hasnt been updated since some pups have been born/registerd. i know jakki whizz and whizzy jack r not on there yet but thats becoz it hasnt been updated since i registered them. not sure about the stud and brook saying unknown like. :wacko:
 
Got to agree how can you run a top brood stud dog comp without the correct information scoring cannot be right ..its a farce tbh
 
the TOP BROOD and TOP STUD isn't anything to do with the BWRA or its website really its a WHIPPET NEWS comp thats why W.N. allways requested the breedings of the winners to be included in the results

I think Jane Rowell does the STUD DOG and did hear Gordon ( halloween ) was gonna be doing the BROOD BITCH (not sure on that one though )
 
Quite aware of how the brood / stud top 10 comp works ..but as has been said if the right information is not provided to whom ever calculates the points it can not be done correctly

Personally i think the bwra breeding database is great, its a crying shame its not up to date ..surly someone could send breeding details over to Malcolm on a regular basis

All database information that has been received from the BWRA to date has been updated some weeks back.

I would welcome any registration detail that is missing or if anyone spots any errors please do let me know and I will update these first chance I get.

Just like to say that it's my brother Tony that runs the brood bitch comp. If he doesn't know any breeding then i find out for him, hence the requests for breeding now & again.

i breed a lot of nice pups and like to see them win and give my breeding a better name . not someone elses , its the same as winning a open and getting no trophy

or someone else getting it
