I thought the draw would be made on the day when everyone is present. It would rule out anyone being suspicious of any fixing in the draws. But hey! it's your club and your race meeting so i guess it gives you the right to do things as you please though if i was travelling a few hundred miles i would want to see the draw being made. Just out of curiosity when the dogs are being slipped does the lure come from behind the dogs or is it in front of the dogs and what is the format ie are the dogs coupled together or slipped individually by their owners. Some people may be of the attitude of who cares or does it matter but for a dog schooled properly it can give it that little edge. It would be nice to capture the meeting on dvd as i'm sure a lot of people would be interested.

Hope the all the Northern dogs and owners are that bit richer when they return back north

daz tat is an awful think to say to anybody it might go on in your club if your in one but not down ere your not travelling so u wont ave to worry....the draw will be made on the wen nyt befor the racing in lua ryans pup anyone who wants to attend they can reason draw is made wen nyt as we ave to get cards printed out we do thinks the right way....the lure will be coming from behind the shy there is a slipper for the day owners just leave there dog to slipper...there does be a dvd of every race day tat we ave hope this helps allllll your questions :thumbsup:

Shane i don't think anything i mentioned was awful. I asked a few questions and made a point openly not hiding under an alias name. Would there be any chance of getting a dvd done of the racing.

hi graham i totally disagree tat meants people who says tat r basicaly calling r club cheats and i for one wont stand for tat ....this racing is going for the last 11years and not once has there being any douth.....it might go on in other clubs but it wont go on in r club ..if people dont like the way we oppraite then dont come we r not twisting any ones arms there is some amount of sore loosers in this game and they will sit behind computers and talk shit and try make tell u wat u should do to try get thinks to suit themselfs if there dogs r not good enough tat is tuf go get one tat is..[i had to] im sick to the teeth of lisening to people talking rubbish and anyone who would even think tat cheating would go on must be very parranide in there heads it sick realy...

115 dogs was this in a track graham as we dont realy be in places where there is eletricty an besides tat as i said early on this is the way it has being done for years and this is the way it will stay EVERYONE is welcome to come to the draw....ie wat happens wit every coursing ere in ireland why dont they do the draw tat morning :blink: ...its call trust...it is the luck of the draw no seeding hope your keeping well graham and hope this makes sence and u understand were im coming from :thumbsup:

We have been going to the roscrea race meetings for a few years now, & i can honestly say the roscrea club are very dedicated, honest & genuine dog people, for anyone who is serious about racing their dogs it is definately a race day u would enjoy, these club members put alot off time & efford into preparing these race days, & they even have consolation racing for dogs that have been knocked out in first rounds which is good for giving dogs a second chance in another a race.. i always look forward to going to their race days so keep up the good work roscrea club..
