Does any one know what has happened to the Northern Club that used to meet near Chorley? If it has ended where is the nearest pedigree racing club?

lol John - I just posted something similar on your post in the coursing section:) If you go to the clubs and societies section, all the contact details are there. I'm pretty sure the Northern is still operating, although it will be their closed season at the moment.

The Northern are based near Rochdale and the Lancashire PWRC near to Preston.

I haven't head of either of them folding, but I don't travel that far to go racing, so I may have missed any announcement.

If you have no luck, please post again, and someone will be able to give you more specific info :)

Look back on the Pedigree racing threads, the Northern have a new ground at Leisure Lakes, looks very impressive too. We are looking forward to a visit

Ian, you have them back to front :teehee: Northern was near Chorley (which is near Preston), and Lancashire was near Rochdale - but Lancashire has folded.

The Northern have a lush new ground now - here's a link to the thread
